Adding elevation to the driving line

In the height menu one adds specific height points to the track layout.

Height differences will lead to additional longitudinal resistance.

The change in elevation does not lead to any change in vertical load on the vehicle like banking in combination does.

There are three ways of selecting a height point: by clicking on a point in the 3D main graph, click close to the point you want to select in the height graph, or select it in the listbox with the overview of the height points.

Once the point is selected, the edit boxes will be updated.

If you have selected a point, LapSim will show you a button to add an addition point at a distance half between the current point and the next.

LapSim will also show you a button to delete the selected point.
